NEW LOOK ENGLISH SCHOOL
Rural Organization for Social Empowerment (ROSE) has been running a school named "New Look School" at Mantripukhri, Imphal East District, Manipur since the year 2000 with X Standard to give actual education to the poor and needy student of the society.
Under this programme, 400 students belongs to minority and other backward classes were getting benefitted by providing education system in English medium with lowest rate of admission fee, tuition fee. The school is affiliated to Board of Secondary Education Manipur and conducted by Govt. of Manipur for HSLC Examination.
The school is running with 12 trained teaching staffs and 6 non-teaching staffs with its limited organisation's own fund.
As routine programme during the year 2018-19, school authority of the organization had organised school excursion, social service camp, tree plantation, free coaching classes especially for Class X who appear in HSLC Examination.
Besides this, the ROSE had conducted quiz competition, annual sports meet, debating competition for bringing a bright future of students.
MODERNIZATION MADRASSA EDUCATION
To bring madrasa students into the educational mainstream, by way of a model through which religious and non-religious subjects can be integrated into a well meaning whole, the government's programme merely gives some were not satisfied. In this regard, the ROSE had taken up various activities for modernization of Madrassa situated at and around Moijing village areas. During the reporting period, the ROSE had discussed with the school authorities of the Moijing Maning High Madrassa to all well meaning debates on madrasa reform will have to take this into consideration and perhaps develop a model through which religious and non-religious subjects can be integrated into a well meaning whole.
ROSE COACHING CENTRE
Rural Organization for Social Empowerment (ROSE) has been running ROSE Coaching Centre at Hatta, Minuthong, Imphal East District, Manipur since the year 2009 from the own source of the organisation by giving free coaching to the students/ candidates belonging to the minority community for entrance exam for admission in technical and professional courses and employment in private sector with competitive examinations in government jobs. General coaching classes were also conducted for classes X, XI and XII.
CAREER GUIDANCE
To motivate the youth to act as focal point for dissemination of knowledge in the rural area and involve them in nation building process, the ROSE had organised 15 day programme on Career Guidance for rural youth and adolescent at the premises of the ROSE's training complex from 10th August, 2017. During the programme. the ROSE had engaged 2 teachers for the programme. The programme was participated with 25 students who are belong to poor family and who are willing to join the dull service exam, medical entrance
